About Future Kampung
A Dutch ANBI certified foundation working towards lasting change in the kampungs of Jakarta.
Our mission
Future Kampung believes that dignity, opportunity and resilience should not depend on where you are born. We work together with local leaders, parents and youth in Jakarta kampungs on three core areas: education, emergency aid and empowerment.
We believe change only lasts when the community itself owns the solution. That is why we always work through local partners and volunteers who know the language, culture and context.
What we do
Education
School supplies, teacher training and learning spaces for children in the kampungs. Education is the most powerful tool for breaking the poverty cycle.
Emergency Aid
Direct aid during floods and crises: food, water, shelter and hygiene. We can respond within hours through our local network.
Empowerment
Training and mentorship programmes for women and youth. Economic independence changes not just individual lives but entire communities.
ANBI certified
Future Kampung holds the ANBI certification from the Dutch Tax Authority. This means your donation is fully tax deductible and we are required to report transparently on how funds are spent.
